Content Policy

This policy applies to everything submitted to Revocle for distribution or funding: masters, artwork, metadata, videos and any material submitted through Revocle Studio or our forms.

You may only distribute content you own outright, or that you are licensed to distribute — including cleared samples, cover-song mechanical licenses, and written consent from every performer, writer and producer credited. If ownership is shared, submitting it to Revocle confirms you have authority from your collaborators to release it.

Unauthorized samples, uncleared interpolations, re-uploads of someone else's master, or covers distributed without a mechanical license are not allowed. Rights holders can flag infringing content — see "Reporting a problem" below.

Bots, click farms, incentivized or fraudulent streaming, fake playlist placements, and any attempt to artificially inflate streams, saves or engagement are not allowed on any release distributed through Revocle. Stores actively police this and can remove royalties or terminate catalogues found in violation — Revocle will cooperate with those investigations and may withhold royalties pending the outcome.

Using AI to clone or imitate a real person's voice, likeness or performance without their explicit written consent is not allowed, whether the result is presented as a "leak," a "cover," or an original song. Fully AI-generated or AI-assisted music that does not impersonate a real person is permitted, but must not be misrepresented as a human performance where a store requires that disclosure.

Fake artist names designed to pass as another — real or fictional — artist, false performer, writer or producer credits, and misleading genre, title or explicit-content tagging are not allowed.

Hate speech, content that incites violence, child sexual abuse material, and any other content unlawful in India or in the territories a release is delivered to will be removed immediately and reported to relevant authorities where required.

Filler content — white noise, silence, looped stock audio — uploaded purely to farm streams or plan quotas is not allowed and may result in release removal and account review.

Every release passes automated quality checks (metadata completeness, audio integrity) before delivery, and we may manually review a release — or ask you for proof of rights — before or after it goes live, especially for funding pitches, cover songs, samples, or anything flagged by a store.

If you believe a release on Revocle infringes your rights or breaks this policy, email support@revocle.com with: (1) the release or track name and a link where it appears, (2) a description of the issue, (3) proof of your ownership or rights, and (4) your contact details. We review every report and aim to respond within a few business days.

Depending on severity, we may: request evidence of rights before continuing distribution, temporarily pause a release, permanently remove it from stores, withhold or claw back related royalties, and suspend or terminate the account responsible. For funded projects, confirmed fraud or infringement is treated as a breach of the funding agreement, which can include recovery of the advance.

If your release was removed or your account actioned and you believe it was a mistake, email support@revocle.com with your evidence. We'll review it and respond directly; this does not guarantee reinstatement.

Accounts with repeated, confirmed violations of this policy will be permanently terminated and are not eligible to rejoin under a new profile.

We may update this Content Policy as stores' own rules and industry norms evolve. Continued use of Revocle after an update means you accept the change.
