Refund & Cancellation Policy
When you're owed money back, when you're not, and how to close your account.
LAST UPDATED 9 AUGUST 2026
Overview
+
This policy covers Revocle's paid subscription plans — Anthem, Platinum and Legacy. It does not cover royalties, which are always paid to you and never "refunded" back to Revocle, or project funding advances and co-productions, which are governed by their own signed agreement.
The Debut plan
+
Debut is ₹0, free forever. There's nothing to refund because nothing is charged.
Paid plan refund eligibility
+
If you're on Anthem, Platinum or Legacy, you can request a full refund within 7 days of a new purchase or renewal, provided no release has yet been distributed to stores under that billing cycle. Once a release has gone out to stores on the cycle you're asking to refund, the plan fee is no longer refundable for that cycle, because delivery and store-side processing have already happened.
Renewals
+
Paid plans renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel auto-renewal any time from Revocle Studio or by emailing support@revocle.com; cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current, already-active term unless the 7-day, no-releases window above still applies.
Downgrades & mid-term cancellation
+
There's no partial-term proration: if you cancel or downgrade partway through a paid year, the change takes effect from your next renewal date, and releases already delivered under the higher plan stay live on stores. Your royalties keep flowing to your ReWallet regardless of plan changes.
Referral & coupon credits
+
ReWallet referral credits (₹2,000 per genuine artist) and coupon credits are promotional, non-transferable and have no cash value — they can only be applied to promotion campaigns or plan renewals, and are not refundable or withdrawable as cash.
Project funding is not a purchase
+
Advances and co-production financing are not fees you pay us — they're money we put into your project. There is no "refund" on funding; instead, advances are recovered only from that project's future royalties per the signed agreement, and co-production revenue shares are governed by the same. If a funded project is cancelled before release, the specific agreement you signed for that project controls what happens next, not this policy.
How to request a refund
+
Email support@revocle.com from the address on your account with your payment reference and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically post within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Chargebacks
+
If something looks wrong on a charge, please email us first — most issues are resolved faster that way than through a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first, where the charge was in fact valid, may result in account suspension while we investigate.
Closing your account & catalogue exit
+
You can close your Revocle account at any time by emailing support@revocle.com. On request, we will withdraw your catalogue from stores; store-side takedown typically completes within the timelines each store sets, commonly a few days up to a few weeks. Any royalties already earned up to closure remain payable to your ReWallet and can still be withdrawn afterward. Closing your account does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of plan fees already earned per the eligibility rules above.
Changes to this policy
+
We may update this policy over time; changes apply from the "last updated" date shown here and don't affect refund requests already submitted under the prior version.
