Why there is a gate at all
An open door means anyone can push anything through the pipeline, and that costs everyone else — stores penalise distributors whose catalogues carry infringing or artificially streamed content, and those penalties land on every artist on the platform. Reviewing who comes in keeps delivery fast and the catalogue clean.
What we look at
Whether the music is yours, whether the rights are clear, and whether you are set up to release. We are not judging genre or follower count.
